Who operates AngryGamer
AngryGamer is operated by JVR Software in South Africa. This policy explains what information is handled when you browse the site, create an account, submit community content or use our games and discovery tools. Privacy questions and data requests can be sent to jvrsoftware@gmail.com.
Information we collect
We process information you choose to provide, such as account and profile details, comments, community submissions, server or clan listings, event entries and messages sent through contact forms. We also receive ordinary technical information needed to operate and protect the service, including IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, security logs and cookie identifiers.
How we use information
Information is used to provide accounts and site features, display approved submissions, moderate abuse, prevent fraud and malware, diagnose faults, understand aggregate site use and improve AngryGamer. Public profile or submission fields are visible to other visitors when the feature clearly presents them as public. We do not sell account passwords or private messages.
Cookies and local storage
WordPress and AngryGamer may use cookies or browser storage for login sessions, security, preferences, consent choices and gameplay state. You can remove or block cookies in your browser, although login and preference features may then stop working correctly.
Advertising
Selected public content pages may display advertising supplied by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to deliver, limit, measure and report advertising. Advertising is not placed inside Line Strike, Arcade games, account forms or private communication areas. Pages may link to or embed third-party services such as YouTube, Twitch, Xbox, PlayStation, Steam or social networks. Those services can receive technical information and apply their own privacy policies when you load or use their content. AngryGamer’s news roundups link to the original publishers.
Retention and security
Account and submission data is kept while needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. Security and backup records may be retained for a limited operational period. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may ask for access to, correction of or deletion of personal information associated with you, subject to legal, security and recordkeeping requirements. You can also object to or restrict certain processing where applicable. Send a clear request from the email address connected to your account to jvrsoftware@gmail.com.
Children
Children should use community and account features only with appropriate parent or guardian involvement. Do not submit a child’s private contact details, school details or precise location in public content.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the service, advertising tools or legal requirements change. The current version published on this page applies from 24 September 2026.
